The Life is Beautiful Festival
Life is Beautiful launched in 2013, its inaugural kickoff marked by musical performances from Kings of Leon, Beck, Childish Gambino, Earl Sweatshirt, and more. Its essence, as the official website puts it, can be distilled to “a symbol of connection, joy, and creativity.”
This year’s festival—number six—takes place September 20th through September 22nd across 18 city blocks in Downtown Vegas: from 7th to 11th and from Mesquite to Carson avenues. The festival gates are at Fremont and 7th and Fremont and 11th, and the grounds are open each of the three days from 2 PM to 1 AM.
Musical Headliners at the 2019 Life is Beautiful Festival
As always, Life is Beautiful has some big names taking its stage, representing multiple musical genres and a whopping number of record sales. This year’s headliners include Chance the Rapper and the Black Keys—both fresh off new album releases—as well as Lil Wayne, Vampire Weekend, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, and Portugal, the Man.
Comedy & Talk at the Festival
Also taking center stage at the 2019 Life is Beautiful Festival are live comedy from Jonathan Van Ness as well as Desus and Mero, plus the four hosts of the popular podcast Pod Save America.
Art & Food at Life is Beautiful
The food and drink is just as inspiring as the stage performances at Life is Beautiful, with culinary awesomeness supplied by more than 70 local and regional restaurants, food trucks, bars, and chefs. There’s plenty of art of all stripes on display in the Downtown festival grounds as well.
